Role Overview

This position is for a chassis design engineer who will contribute to the design and development of vehicle suspension, steering, and brake systems. The role involves detailed CAD modelling, drafting, packaging analysis, cross-functional coordination, and preparation of engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of suspension, steering, and braking systems.
• Carry out packaging assessments and wheel-end related studies.
• Build 3D models, assemblies, and installation drawings.
• Develop and revise models and drawings using CATIA and UG NX.
• Apply GD&T principles and complete tolerance analysis for parts and assemblies.
• Work with CAE, testing, and supplier teams to support project execution.
• Contribute to DFM, DFA, DFS, and validation-related activities.
• Prepare BOMs and maintain engineering records and documentation.

Candidate Profile

The employer is looking for an engineer with a mechanical engineering background and hands-on exposure to chassis-related design work. Candidates should be comfortable working with modelling tools and collaborating with multiple technical teams.

Education Requirement

A B.Tech or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering is required.

Additional Information

Location: Pune, India.

Compensation is listed as INR 5,00,000 to INR 13,00,000 per year.
