Design Expert (Multidisciplinary)

About the Role

This contract opportunity is for a multidisciplinary design specialist who will help evaluate and improve design interview content, with a strong focus on visual design and UX/UI quality. The position is fully remote and is suitable for professionals who can commit between 10 and 40 hours each week. Compensation is set at $15 to $40 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Review design interview content and strengthen it with attention to visual and UX/UI considerations.
• Check AI-created design outputs for quality, practical usability, and alignment with current design best practices.
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations to improve structure, visual balance, hierarchy, and the end-user experience.
• Work alongside AI training teams to keep the output consistent with changing industry expectations.
• Support ongoing improvement of AI products by applying advanced design expertise to real use cases.
• Promote user-focused design thinking and ensure visual identity and brand consistency across reviewed materials.

Requirements

• Prior multidisciplinary design experience with a strong portfolio is required.
• Good command of typography, layout, and core visual design principles is essential.
• Hands-on proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD is expected.
• Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design workflows is needed.
• Ability to evaluate and shape branding and visual identity elements is important.

Additional Information

This is a remote contract role based in the United Kingdom. The expected workload is 10 to 40 hours per week. The application flow includes an easy application step, an email follow-up, and then resume review and an interview stage.
