Job Overview

The Superintendent Construction position centers on leading fabrication-side construction work with a strong grasp of project delivery methods, workforce leadership, and construction fundamentals. The role calls for practical understanding of adjacent disciplines, plus the ability to use industry knowledge to raise site productivity, guide teams, shape working methods, and solve technical, operational, and organizational issues that affect delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Lead fabrication construction execution so that work matches project requirements, timelines, and internal standards.
• Coordinate closely with project management and engineering functions to align resources and project stages.
• Promote a strong safety culture by applying and enforcing HSE controls aimed at a zero-incident site.
• Ensure construction quality remains consistent and compliant with applicable codes and project quality expectations.
• Plan and balance manpower, equipment, and materials to support efficient delivery of project goals.
• Oversee subcontractors and vendors to confirm they meet contractual obligations and expected performance levels.
• Keep project records accurate and complete, and share progress information with stakeholders in a timely way.
• Encourage collaboration and continuous improvement while coaching team members and supporting skill growth.
• Work with all disciplines to align planning and maintain a clear, shared target for execution.
• Review the coming four weeks of activities, allocate personnel accordingly, and prepare MLFs that support productivity of 1 or higher.
• Take ownership of implementing, applying, and checking compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Make sure team members understand their authority and accountability in carrying out company policy requirements.
• Confirm that all mandatory training is completed on time by both the incumbent and the team.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field; additional industry certifications are an advantage.
• Substantial EPCI experience, including meaningful time spent leading fabrication construction work.
• Strong working knowledge of current fabrication methods and standards used in construction and EPCI environments.
• Proven capability in managing HSE systems; occupational health and safety certifications are preferred.
• Established leadership skills with experience guiding varied construction teams.
• Effective communication abilities, including client interaction, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex issues in a fast-moving project setting.
• Readiness to work in different locations and to adapt to extended working hours or shift-based schedules when required.
