Electrical Commissioning Manager / Project Manager

About the role

Blue Fox is hiring an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager / Project Manager for a major data centre fit-out assignment in Frankfurt, Germany. This contract role is focused on the final delivery phase of a high-specification data hall for a leading European data centre contractor.

The position is centred on driving electrical commissioning and overseeing project close-out, with accountability for safe, timely, and high-quality completion of all electrical works, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full electrical commissioning journey, starting with pre-commissioning and continuing through to final handover.
• Set up and coordinate the work of subcontractors and specialist commissioning personnel.
• Supervise inspections, testing activities, and validation of systems.
• Make sure all commissioning records and handover documents are completed and formally approved.
• Track delivery milestones and address technical issues as they arise.
• Work closely with the client, consultants, design teams, and wider project group throughout the project lifecycle.
• Keep health, safety, and quality standards at the highest level on site.

Requirements

• Demonstrated background as an Electrical Commissioning Manager or Electrical Project Manager on data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale M&E projects.
• Strong working knowledge of LV and HV electrical systems, together with commissioning methods and procedures.
• Hands-on experience managing commissioning plans and end-to-end project handovers.
• Proven ability to guide multidisciplinary teams in a demanding, fast-moving environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong stakeholder coordination ability.
