Role overview

HL Bank Singapore is hiring an Executive for Treasury Settlements to support operational processes across payments, treasury data, and settlement activities. This position offers exposure to financial systems and investment-market workflows, with an emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and coordination across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support the full processing flow for SWIFT payments from initiation through completion.
• Assist with treasury settlement tasks and the maintenance of related data.
• Work with financial information and systems used in investment-related operations.
• Track the progress of financial events from announcement to execution and final settlement.
• Help maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity for financial records.

Skills and development areas

• Build practical knowledge of payment operations and timely static data updates.
• Handle, verify, and refresh large volumes of static and market data.
• Apply strong attention to detail in data entry, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Identify mismatches in financial information and help resolve them.
• Become familiar with specialist systems and tools used in corporate actions processing.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to keep data updates timely and accurate.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a closely related discipline.
• Basic understanding of financial markets and investment products, especially equities and mutual funds.
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability, along with a strong eye for detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, quick to learn, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
• Fresh graduates may also be considered.
