F&B Reservations Coordinator (Emiratization Program)

Role Overview

Shangri-La Group is looking for an experienced F&B Reservations Coordinator to join the Food & Beverage team at Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri in Abu Dhabi under the Emiratisation Program. This position is suited to someone with a solid background in marketing and, ideally, exposure to hospitality or high-end customer service.

Key Duties

• Handle restaurant bookings and arrange VIP guest requirements.
• Keep department records, files, and databases accurate and current.
• Stay informed about all food and beverage offerings, menu updates, promotions, and events.
• Help ensure effective communication between F&B leadership and operational teams.
• Track guest comments and support prompt resolution of any issues.
• Maintain guest information for personalized service delivery.
• Promote higher-value dining options and highlight hotel events when suitable.

Candidate Profile

• Applicants must be UAE nationals.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with good people skills.
• Well-organized and detail-focused.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a busy, high-pressure environment.
• Comfortable speaking English fluently; additional languages are beneficial.
• Alignment with Shangri-La values is important.

About the Property

Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi features 213 luxurious rooms and suites, along with 6 four-bedroom villas with private pools, all designed in a modern Arabic style. For extended-stay guests, the hotel also offers 161 spacious serviced apartments ranging from studios to four-bedroom residences. The property sits in the Qaryat Al Beri complex on a one-kilometre private beach overlooking the waterway between Abu Dhabi Island and the mainland. It is next to a souk with many shops, and is approximately 10 minutes from the international airport, 5 minutes from the golf course and Convention Centre, and 15 minutes from the Corniche and city centre.
