General Operator (Evening Shift)

About the Role

Integer is looking for a General Operator to join its evening shift team in Spiddal, County Galway. What You’ll Do

You will support daily production activity and assist in maintaining a lean manufacturing environment. The position covers a mix of operational, documentation, quality, and housekeeping duties, with some tasks depending on supervisor direction and specific job area needs.

• Carry out tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Follow all applicable SOPs and job breakdown sheets.
• Complete documentation accurately and in line with process requirements.
• Support asset care activities and machine setup in designated work areas.
• Take part in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work in line with quality requirements and GMP standards for production and cleanroom areas.
• Follow gowning procedures at all times.
• Help keep the workplace clean, organised, and safe, with strong housekeeping and chemical control practices under 5S.
• Adhere to the behavioural standards expected by Integer Ireland Limited.

Skills and Knowledge

The ideal candidate should communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and people outside the department. A careful approach, strong attention to detail, and a quality-first mindset are important, along with the discipline to follow SOPs, job breakdown sheets, and documentation requirements.

Minimum Education and Experience

A Leaving Certificate or an equivalent standard is required. Good spoken and written English, basic computer skills, strong punctuality, and a reliable attendance and performance record are also expected.

Physical and Mental Requirements

This role has minimal physical demands for an operator position. It also requires someone who is well organised and has good interpersonal skills.
