Role overview
This is an opportunity to join a respected and growing organisation as part of a busy, collaborative HR team. The position is well suited to an HR Administrator or HR Operations professional who wants broad exposure to operational HR in a fast-moving, people-centric setting. The role covers employee lifecycle administration, onboarding, compliance, learning and development coordination, HR systems support, and reporting.
You’ll be part of a supportive HR function that has an important role across the wider business. The environment is professional, highly organised, and focused on delivering a positive employee experience.
Key responsibilities

- Keep employee files, HR records, and database information accurate, up to date, and confidential.
- Manage HR and Learning & Development inboxes and respond to queries from employees and managers.
- Coordinate onboarding tasks and pre-employment checks, including Garda Vetting, reference checks, and occupational health documentation.
- Handle recruitment administration such as interview scheduling, communication with candidates, and onboarding coordination.
- Complete compliance and primary source verification checks.
- Track probation reviews, fixed-term contracts, and documentation required for employee compliance.
- Assist with the administration of HR systems, including updates to HR databases and recruitment platforms.
- Support pension administration, Taxsaver processing, and employee benefits coordination.
- Prepare employee documents such as contracts, letters, and general HR correspondence.
- Help coordinate learning and development activities, including training administration and record keeping.
- Contribute to HR reporting, audits, and wider compliance-related tasks.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, HR projects, and process improvement efforts.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in HR Administration, HR Operations, or a similar HR Coordinator role. A qualification in HR or another relevant third-level course is required. Experience in healthcare, hospitals, nursing homes, or another regulated environment would be an advantage.
Strong HR systems experience, excellent organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate well with different stakeholder groups are all important. The role also requires someone who can manage several priorities at once, work proactively, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
