Inspector (Turnaround)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Inspector for a contract role in Singapore, focusing on turnaround activities. The position involves comprehensive inspection of various equipment and piping systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and procedures pertinent to equipment inspection and the repair of piping and equipment.
• Conducting turnaround inspections for critical equipment such as heat exchangers, vessels, reactors, columns, and piping.
• Generating and submitting detailed final inspection reports, incorporating inspection data, photographic evidence, NDT report reviews, and providing clear recommendations for repair or replacement.
• Overseeing Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) inspection tasks during both workshop fabrication and site installation phases.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in inspecting heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns, and piping.
• Previous experience with shutdown or turnaround inspections is essential.
• Possession of a valid API 510 certification is mandatory.
• API 570 and Welding Inspector certifications are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in understanding Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Advanced NDT Methods.
• Familiarity with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Qualification Tests (WQT).
• Solid knowledge of industry codes, including ASME and API standards.
• Must be a Singaporean citizen or a Singapore Permanent Resident (PR).
• Availability to commence work immediately.
• Willingness to undertake a contract assignment.
