Junior Developer

Role overview

We are looking for a Junior Developer to work onsite in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The role focuses on application development and support, with a strong emphasis on FICO Blaze/DMP, Java, .NET, and rule-based decision systems.

Key responsibilities

• Work with FICO Blaze/DMP decision components such as decision tables, scorecards, decision trees, functions, and rule sets, including debugging support.
• Investigate and fix defects, and assist with SIT and UAT testing activities.
• Develop scorecards and change requests, followed by unit testing.
• Build and support solutions using .NET and Java technologies.
• Apply object-oriented analysis and design concepts in day-to-day development work.
• Support deployment and troubleshooting across JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic, and WebSphere environments.
• Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders through written and verbal channels.

Required qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience working with FICO Blaze products.
• Hands-on experience creating and implementing business rules and decision management solutions with FICO Blaze Advisor.
• Strong understanding of rule-based architectures and decision management principles.
• Solid Java programming skills and familiarity with object-oriented design practices.
• Exposure to agile and Scrum-based development processes.
• Experience using Decision Harvesting Workbook (DHW).
• Working knowledge of documentation tools such as MS Office, Visio, and SmartDraw.
• Understanding of JSON in API and system design contexts.
• Strong interpersonal skills, along with stakeholder handling and collaboration ability.
