Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi is suited to a Junior Estimation and Procurement Engineer who will support both commercial estimating and purchasing activities. The job centers on building cost estimates, reviewing bids, identifying and negotiating with suppliers, and handling purchase order workflows. The role also involves keeping procurement documentation up to date, coordinating RFQs, and working closely with internal stakeholders to help projects move forward smoothly and cost-effectively.

The position combines estimation support with procurement coordination, with a strong focus on controlling costs and ensuring resources are acquired efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

• Capability in supplier assessment and RFQ handling
• Practical experience in creating and tracking purchase orders
• Good analytical ability for comparing project costs and sourcing choices
• Clear communication skills for dealing with suppliers and internal teams
• Comfort working in a collaborative, team-based setting
• An engineering degree or a related academic background is preferred
• Exposure to technical contracting or construction practices is an added advantage
• Ability to use procurement software or similar tools is desirable
