Junior IT Manager

Role Overview

Unilabs Middle East is seeking a Junior IT Manager in Dubai to support and strengthen core IT operations within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and day-to-day user account management.
• Take ownership of network components such as switches, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, and VPN connectivity.
• Liaise with external vendors supporting healthcare software platforms and related services.
• Provide support for the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Handle client integration workflows, including JSON, HL7, secure file transfer, and other interfacing methods.
• Support connectivity and interfacing with laboratory machines and equipment.
• Help maintain reliable backup routines, disaster recovery readiness, and cybersecurity controls.
• Keep IT documentation, policies, and the asset register up to date.
• Contribute to compliance activities and information security requirements, including ADHICS.

Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure basics.
• Understanding of networking concepts and tools, including Cisco, Fortinet, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Exposure to virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Basic familiarity with SQL Server.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Understanding of ITIL-based service processes.
• Healthcare IT exposure is an added advantage.
• Ability to coordinate vendors and manage project-related follow-ups.

Preferred Certifications

Professional certifications that strengthen the profile include ITIL 4 Foundation, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate, CompTIA Security+, and, for future senior progression, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Additional Information

This role is full-time and based on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The position involves supporting both infrastructure and healthcare application environments, with a strong focus on operational stability, compliance, and cross-team coordination.
