Role Overview

As a Laundry Attendant, you will support the delivery of exceptional garment and linen care across Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha. Your work will help maintain the polished presentation, efficiency, and high service standards expected in a luxury hotel environment.

You will handle hotel linens, staff uniforms, and guest laundry with care and accuracy, working closely with Housekeeping and Laundry teams to ensure services are completed on time and to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities

Use laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, pressing machines, and irons safely and according to hotel procedures.
Clean, press, and present linens, uniforms, and guest items to luxury hospitality standards.
Process guest laundry requests in a prompt, professional, and detail-oriented manner.
Sort, wash, dry, fold, press, and arrange laundry items while following correct fabric-care methods.
Check garments and linens for stains, damage, or wear, and escalate issues to supervisors without delay.
Keep the laundry workspace, storage areas, and equipment tidy and well organized.
Track laundry-related inventory such as chemicals, linens, supplies, and uniforms, and report shortages when needed.
Follow hygiene, sanitation, and health and safety requirements when working with chemicals and machinery.
Work in coordination with Housekeeping and other departments to support smooth hotel operations.
Protect guest privacy and keep guest belongings and information confidential at all times.
Address special laundry requests and guest concerns courteously and professionally.
Contribute positively to the team while supporting the service culture of both luxury brands.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to laundry operations, housekeeping, or a comparable role in a luxury hotel setting. A working understanding of laundry processes, fabric care, stain removal, and equipment handling is preferred.

Strong attention to detail, a commitment to cleanliness and presentation, and a genuine focus on guest service are essential. The role also requires strong communication skills, discretion, physical stamina, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

You should be organized, able to follow procedures consistently, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a multicultural team. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.
