About the Role

Raytheon Australia is hiring an experienced Maintenance Planner to support the Capability Lifecycle Manager (CLCM) program. In this role, you will report to the Lead Maintenance Planner and help shape, track, and improve maintenance requirements across the full vessel lifecycle. Your work will directly support the availability of Navy vessels and contribute to the Australian Defence Force’s operational readiness.

This position sits within a growing program supporting the Navy’s Offshore Patrol Vessels. It is co-located with Defence, giving you the opportunity to work closely with Defence and industry stakeholders to meet shared objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Use the maintenance planning system AMPS7 to schedule and manage maintenance transactions.
Create new maintenance tasks or update existing ones to address emerging operational needs.
Clean up and correct transactional data to keep records accurate and reliable.
Help resolve technical questions related to maintenance planning and asset management.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

A Certificate II in a relevant trade area such as mechanical, electrical, or fabrication is required to support technical understanding of maintenance and asset management work.
At least 2 years of relevant prior experience is needed.
Experience using maintenance management and planning systems, along with related processes, is expected.
Background in maintenance planning within defence or another tightly regulated environment is important.
Ability to collect, manipulate, and interpret data for internal reporting and evidence-based decision-making is required.
