Job Overview

The Microbiologist I role involves working independently on assigned microbiological projects and performing analyses on raw materials, finished products, and water samples.   • Follow aseptic practices and lab disinfection protocols in accordance with SOPs.
  • Maintain precise and timely records while consistently adhering to analytical standards and laboratory procedures.
  • Carry out quality assurance duties such as environmental monitoring, media qualification, incubator checks, equipment calibration, and sterilization/maintenance activities.
  • Use technical references as needed and record observations and results in notebooks and LIMS.
  • Handle data entry, document copying, and routine communication tasks such as receiving and returning calls and exchanging information.
  • Document all activities in compliance with cGMP requirements.
  • Keep the work area organized and orderly.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field is required.
