Role overview
Sodexo is seeking a Pantry Assistant for a premium corporate client site in Sydney CBD, New South Wales. This is a full-time Monday to Friday position based onsite. The role is focused on keeping pantry stations prepared, attractive, and fully supplied so breakfast and lunch service runs smoothly.
You will work alongside front-of-house and kitchen teams to help deliver a polished dining experience. The position suits someone who enjoys practical work in a busy hospitality setting and takes pride in service quality, presentation, and food safety.
What you will do
- Prepare pantry areas for breakfast and lunch service, including stocking and topping up supplies.
- Keep food presentation and service areas neat, appealing, and consistently well maintained.
- Track stock levels and flag when replenishment is needed.
- Support with simple food preparation and plating tasks when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and order across pantry and service zones.
- Assist front-of-house and kitchen staff during peak service times.
- Work in line with food hygiene, safety, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to guests.
What we are looking for
- Background in hospitality, catering, food service, or a similar environment.
- Strong guest service mindset and a positive, helpful approach.
- High attention to detail, especially with presentation standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-moving setting.
- Good organisation and time management skills.
- Willingness to assist across different parts of the operation as needed.
- Food Handling Certificate is preferred.
- Full unrestricted working rights in Australia.
