About the Role
Join the Bureau of Meteorology's People Connect team within the Organisational Development Program as a Payroll Processing Officer. This role is based in Adelaide, South Australia, and offers a challenging and varied work experience within the Enterprise Services Group. People Connect is dedicated to providing operational Human Resource advice and services to the Bureau's geographically diverse employees.
About the Team
As a member of the Bureau's Payroll Team, you will be a motivated public service pay and conditions specialist with a strong work ethic. The team handles tasks related to conditions under the Bureau's Enterprise Agreement, processes employee entitlements using SAP HRMS, offers guidance to employees, and prepares relevant correspondence and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Process employee entitlements accurately and efficiently using SAP HRMS.
- Provide expert advice to employees regarding pay and conditions.
- Prepare correspondence and documentation related to payroll and employee entitlements.
- Ensure compliance with the Bureau's Enterprise Agreement.
- Work independently to meet team output requirements in a timely manner.
Requirements for Success
- Demonstrated experience with SAP HRMS.
- Proven ability to understand and interpret complex employment conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a high degree of independence.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll.
- Effective communication skills for providing advice and preparing documentation.
