Job Title: Project Coordinator – Interior Fit Out

We are seeking a Project Coordinator for our Interior Fit Out division in Dubai. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless project delivery by acting as the central communication hub between our design team, site execution personnel, suppliers, and clients. The objective is to guarantee that all interior fit-out projects are completed on schedule, meeting high standards of quality and adhering to all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in developing comprehensive project plans and master schedules, including detailed micro-planning for interior fit-out activities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the design department, site engineers, MEP teams, procurement specialists, and client representatives on a daily basis.
• Manage and expedite the process for material submittals, shop drawing approvals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and coordinate delivery schedules with vendors.
• Compile and submit regular project progress reports, including daily/weekly updates, labor reports, and Management Information Systems (MIS) data to senior management.
• Maintain an organized system for all project documentation, including drawings, meeting minutes, permits, inspection requests, and snag lists.
• Participate actively in client coordination meetings, internal review sessions, and safety briefings, ensuring accurate minutes are recorded and distributed.
• Monitor project progress against the planned schedule, identify potential delays, escalate critical issues, and provide support for effective problem resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil, Architecture, Interior Design, or a closely related field.
• Have 2-4 years of relevant experience in the UAE/GCC market, specifically within Interior Fit Out, Joinery, or Commercial Construction projects.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of interior finishes, MEP coordination, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and applicable UAE construction standards.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Project or Primavera P6, and AutoCAD; basic knowledge of Revit is considered an advantage.
• Exhibit strong communication abilities, effective vendor follow-up techniques, multitasking capabilities, and excellent reporting skills.
• Candidates holding a valid UAE residence visa are preferred. If currently employed in the UAE, a transferable visa or a No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required.
