Role Overview

The Repairs Estimator will focus on spotting repair opportunities, preparing quotations for repair work, and following through with customers to secure paid repair orders. The role works closely with service and account managers in regional offices to increase the volume of chargeable repair business.

The position also involves reviewing completed customer orders and preparing accurate repair handover documentation for the relevant Repairs Supervisor so the work can be completed smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess maintenance reports and engineer comments to identify possible repair opportunities.
• Prepare accurate and prompt quotations for repair jobs and insurance-related requests.
• Contact customers to make sure quotations are received, understood, and clearly explained.
• Convert quotations into confirmed orders by building confidence and presenting suitable solutions.
• Assist with administrative duties in the regional service office, including telephone handling.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should have prior experience in the lift industry, preferably in a sales or estimating role. The company is looking for someone with strong communication and relationship-building ability, excellent organisation, and the capacity to handle several priorities in a busy environment. Confidence using IT systems for quoting and customer management is also important.
