Role overview
This position is part of a high-energy sales development function that works alongside the sales team to uncover, assess, and advance new business opportunities. The role also involves coordinating with marketing to follow up on campaigns and events, helping build pipeline and create demand for new customer revenue.
What you'll do
- Source new business prospects through outbound prospecting efforts.
- Work through inbound leads for assigned target accounts by qualifying, nurturing, and developing them.
- Create meetings and sales opportunities that can be handed over to Account Executives.
- Research contacts and stimulate interest through phone outreach, email campaigns, and participation in marketing events.
- Use phone and chat-based engagement to evaluate leads, build relationships, and meet or exceed assigned quotas.
- Maintain accurate records in the company’s sales technology stack, including CRM and sales engagement tools.
What we're looking for
- At least 4 years of background in sales, business development, or telemarketing.
- Previous exposure to cybersecurity or cloud computing is preferred.
- Strong interest in gathering information and assessing business needs to pre-qualify opportunities.
- Comfort with web research and use of different software tools.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ambition to grow within the organization.
- Good command of English communication.
