About the Company

Pattern is a global eCommerce acceleration company with teams in multiple regions. It helps brands grow through outsourced marketplace and eCommerce management, combining AI-enabled technology, category expertise, and worldwide distribution, logistics, and fulfilment support. The company partners with well-known brands including Thorne, Naturelo, Marshall, Nutricost, MegaFood, TIGI, Hair Burst, and Sage, and is ranked among the top 5 Amazon sellers worldwide.

Role Overview

The business is growing, and the team is hiring an experienced eCommerce professional to join the MENA team in Dubai. In this role, you will help scale the business by improving how represented brands perform on Amazon and other marketplaces.

You will be accountable for both the relationship and the financial results of a portfolio of global brands across MENA marketplaces. Working with the Associate Director of eCommerce, you will help shape and execute the end-to-end growth and profitability plan for your portfolio, collaborating closely with Operations, Content, Advertising, Creative, Merchandising, and Finance. You will also lead cross-functional initiatives that improve processes and support scaling in the MENA region. The right person will be commercially minded, strategic, and comfortable influencing internal teams and external partners toward shared goals in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow marketplace revenue across the MENA region using a data-led approach for a portfolio of brands across both B2B and D2C channels.
  • Maintain a clear action plan to beat budget expectations, covering promotions, seasonal planning, new product launches, advertising activity, and related commercial levers.
  • Work with brand partners to build joint business plans and aligned sales and marketing strategies that expand market share.
  • Ensure brands are represented effectively on marketplaces through strong product content, including imagery, enhanced listings, keyword optimisation, local-language translation, and advertising support.
  • Review brand performance regularly using multiple data sources and tools so results can be continually improved across every touchpoint.
  • Coordinate inventory planning with merchandisers to keep supply healthy and pipelines stable.
  • Build and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with client contacts, including status updates and communication around changes and project progress.
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline, standardise, and automate processes.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully managing an eCommerce business.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an eCommerce-related role.
  • Strong academic credentials, ideally equivalent to a 2:1 degree or higher.
  • Prior experience growing and managing third-party marketplace business on Amazon and Noon.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Well organised, disciplined, and able to manage priorities effectively.
  • Comfortable adapting quickly in changing environments.
  • Able to work under pressure and handle workload efficiently.
  • Arabic fluency is preferred to support communication with local-market clients.

Ideal Behaviours

The company values people who challenge the status quo, use data to guide decisions, build strong partnerships, and take action as dependable team players. These traits are described internally as:

  • Game Changers: People who approach problems with an open mind, contribute new ideas, revisit plans when needed, and push for practical improvements in outcomes and processes.
  • Data Fanatics: People who investigate issues through data, avoid assumptions, and use evidence to create and measure effective solutions.
  • Partner Obsessed: People who communicate clearly with partners, listen carefully to expectations, deliver beyond them, and create a positive experience for stakeholders.
  • Team of Doers: People who support colleagues, take initiative, stay accountable, and contribute actively to team and partner success.

Additional Information

The hiring process may involve artificial intelligence tools to support parts of application screening, such as reviewing applications, analysing CVs, or assessing responses. These tools assist the recruitment team but do not replace human judgement, and final hiring decisions are made by people. Candidates who want more information about how their data is handled may contact the company directly.
