Where you'll work
ജോലി വിവരണം
Bureaucracy and legal friction are holding Europe back. We're building the infrastructure, the technology, and the distribution systems that change that.
nu:legal rebuilds legal work around the businesses that need it, not around law-firm incentives, which makes it up to 600x faster and 15x cheaper than the traditional route.
We're an AI-first company. AI handles the repetitive work and our lawyers handle the judgment calls, and we build every workflow with legal specialists rather than around them. Privacy, confidentiality, and governance are designed into the architecture, not bolted on afterward.
We move fast and ship often, with almost no hierarchy and no fixed roles. Nobody waits for permission here, and if something is missing, we build it.
TasksWhat you'll do
- Work across the whole stack: React Native, React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, OpenTofu/Terraform, GCP and AWS.
- Write specs precise enough for a teammate or an AI agent to implement.
- Treat product decisions as your own and push back when you disagree.
- Automate whatever can be automated, from internal tools to ops, QA, and deploys.
- Hold several tasks at once while AI does the coding and you do the thinking and review.
How we build nu:legal
- We write all our code with AI; by hand is too slow.
- We ship several big features every week or two.
- Humans design and architect, AI writes the rest.
- Every review needs human approval.
Who we're looking for
- You are a systems thinker.
- You've built and architected complex systems and owned non-trivial ones end to end.
- You can present an idea, defend it, change your mind on good input, and write it down clearly.
- You're a generalist who'll learn whatever is needed; your current stack doesn't have to match ours.
- You're happy coding with AI by default.
- You're fine with no PM, no assigned architect, and no manager turning problems into tickets.
- You build what's missing instead of waiting for it.
What to expect
- This is not a 9-to-6 job: overtime is regular, and the workload can spike with little warning.
- We're a small team, with no large engineering org or platform team behind you.
- Specs and priorities shift constantly.
- We give above-average equity because we want you to act like an owner, not an employee waiting for direction.
Stack
React Native · React · TypeScript · Python · FastAPI · PostgreSQL · OpenTofu/Terraform · GCP · AWS · heavy AI tooling.
