Service Delivery Manager

Role Overview

This role is focused on steering projects and service delivery activities from concept through final handover. The position calls for someone who can coordinate across teams and vendors, keep delivery on track, and ensure the end result meets customer expectations as well as internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of projects, including design, planning, execution, and final delivery, while keeping quality aligned with business and client needs.
• Work closely with internal teams and outside vendors or service providers to maintain clear communication, efficient operations, and on-time completion.
• Spot project risks early, assess their impact, and put corrective and preventive actions in place to reduce issues.
• Build detailed project plans covering timelines, communication flow, resource assignment, and risk controls.
• Manage projects from kickoff and initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, closure, and handover.
• Track progress and performance to make sure deliverables stay within agreed scope, budget, timeline, and quality targets.
• Partner with customers, stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical, operational, and design issues effectively.
• Prepare status updates, performance dashboards, and executive-level summaries for senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to service level agreements, governance requirements, and deadlines while keeping customer satisfaction and service quality high.
• Lead improvement efforts that strengthen service delivery processes, operational efficiency, and the overall client experience.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or a closely related discipline, along with around 8 years of experience in project delivery, stakeholder coordination, and service operations in large organizations.

Skills & Methodologies

Strong command of project management approaches such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models is important, along with excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational ability.

Preferred Industry Exposure

Experience in government or semi-government environments in Qatar will be considered an advantage.
