Role Overview

This Hyderabad-based opportunity is for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with at least 5 years of overall IT experience, including practical hands-on work on the ServiceNow platform. The position calls for someone who can build, customize, and deploy scalable enterprise solutions while working in an Agile environment.

What You Will Do

• Develop, configure, and implement applications on ServiceNow using Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Workflows, and Flow Designer.
• Work across key ServiceNow areas such as ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, ITBM, and SecOps, depending on project needs.
• Design and deliver enterprise-grade solutions that are scalable and maintainable.
• Build and enhance Service Portal experiences, including responsive interfaces and reusable UI components.
• Integrate systems and applications using web technologies and API-based connectivity.
• Follow strong software engineering practices to write clean, reusable, and easy-to-maintain code.
• Adapt quickly to new tools, platform updates, and evolving ServiceNow capabilities.
• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams and contribute effectively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience with direct ServiceNow development exposure.
• Strong command of JavaScript and practical ServiceNow platform development.
• Experience with one or more major ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, ITBM, or SecOps.
• Hands-on knowledge of Service Portal development.
• Working understanding of HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSON, XML, SOAP, and REST APIs.
• Ability to build maintainable, reusable code and apply solid engineering discipline.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset and the ability to work with culturally diverse teams.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
