Responsibilities
The Staffing Coordinator is tasked with identifying, coordinating, and assigning all available staffing resources for clinical units throughout the system. This role ensures that all clinical units maintain adequate staffing levels based on patient census and acuity. The coordinator achieves this by continuously monitoring staff resources, utilizing computerized scheduling software, responding to requests from individual business units, and incorporating feedback from administrative resources.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative roles, staffing, payroll, or customer service is required.
- Proficiency in computer use with a high degree of accuracy is essential.
- Prior experience in a hospital setting and with clinical service support functions is advantageous.
Licenses and Certifications:
- No specific licenses or certifications are required for this position.
