Role overview
GlobalLogic is hiring a detail-focused and initiative-driven Technical Trainer to coordinate technical learning and onboarding programs. This role is centered on ensuring training runs smoothly, monitoring learner progress, and supporting ongoing improvements that strengthen technical capability and operational outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Organize and book technical training sessions covering incident ownership, resolution, and communication, including room reservations and virtual meeting setup.
- Handle the operational setup required for training delivery so that all tools, materials, and resources are ready in advance.
- Share training content and access details with participants.
- Support technical onboarding activities, including arranging system access and introducing new joiners to the relevant teams.
- Create learner accounts on training platforms and resolve access-related issues when they arise.
- Monitor attendance and progress across training and onboarding programs.
- Collect training-related data such as participation, feedback, and assessment results, then use it to measure program effectiveness.
- Prepare reports that show how training affects performance indicators such as time taken to become proficient in incident resolution.
- Review feedback and performance trends to spot learning gaps in incident management and put targeted improvements in place.
- Assess the impact of technical training initiatives and suggest updates to content and delivery methods.
- Help improve internal knowledge bases and learning materials based on user feedback and changing business needs.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience along with a bachelor’s degree in a suitable field such as IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or HR/Training.
- Prior experience in training coordination or program administration, ideally within a technical or IT environment.
- Strong planning, communication, and people skills.
- Comfort with LMS platforms, virtual meeting tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interpret data and turn it into practical training improvements.
- Understanding of adult learning concepts and instructional design basics.
- Any graduation degree is acceptable, provided the candidate has a provisional certificate and consolidated marks memo.
- Willingness to work from the office and follow rotational shifts, with 5 working days and 2 weekly offs.
- Availability to join immediately.
