Role overview
This position is responsible for the smooth running of day-to-day warehouse activities. The role covers the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of raw materials, packaging items, and finished products throughout the site. The Warehouse Supervisor will guide warehouse teams, improve stock accuracy, uphold strong safety and quality practices, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that support operational performance.
The selected candidate will also help ensure warehouse processes align with Kerry’s quality, food safety, and health and safety expectations, while supporting business goals through effective planning and team leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and organize warehouse personnel to keep operations running efficiently.
- Manage the receipt, storage, and handling of raw materials in line with company procedures.
- Track inventory and carry out routine stock counts to keep records accurate.
- Apply and reinforce safety procedures to maintain a secure workplace.
- Liaise with procurement and production teams to ensure materials are available on time.
- Keep the warehouse clean and orderly to make the best use of available space.
- Compile and review reports covering inventory, stock movement, and operational results.
- Investigate and fix inventory differences and other day-to-day operational issues.
- Coach and assess warehouse staff to maintain performance and compliance standards.
- Use warehouse tools and equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar machinery when required.
Qualifications and experience
Applicants should have at least 10 years of warehousing experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position. Practical experience with inventory control is required, and SAP knowledge is essential. The role also calls for proven leadership ability, strong computer skills across MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook, awareness of workplace hazards and safety measures, and good written and spoken English communication.
