Overview
Maynooth University is looking for an Academic Skills Development Coordinator to strengthen and grow student-focused academic skills support and success initiatives. The role involves coordinating, delivering, and enhancing provision that is inclusive, evidence-based, and responsive to the learning needs of students at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively across the institution to design and evaluate support that improves student learning, confidence, and academic success. This position suits a professional who can lead academic skills provision while partnering with colleagues to develop services that meet present and future needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate academic skills provision and student success activities across the university.
- Develop and deliver student-centred support initiatives for undergraduate and postgraduate learners.
- Work with colleagues across the institution to create inclusive academic support solutions.
- Assess and improve services using evidence-informed approaches.
- Respond to current, emerging, and future learning needs of students.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of academic skills and success programmes.
Salary and Employment Terms
The role is graded as Administrative Officer II, with a salary range of €47,387 to €67,129 per annum across 9 points.
Appointments will follow public sector pay arrangements.
