Role Overview

The Client Partner will lead business development and client acquisition efforts in Zimbabwe. The position involves uncovering opportunities, establishing executive-level relationships, creating qualified leads, and securing consulting and retainer engagements. The ideal person will be comfortable speaking with CEOs, Managing Directors, General Managers, Heads of Operations, Heads of Technology, and other senior stakeholders.

Business Development

  • Prospect and connect with potential clients across Zimbabwe.
  • Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Run discovery conversations to understand business pain points and transformation priorities.
  • Showcase the company’s services and commercial value to senior leaders.
  • Use networking, referrals, events, and direct outreach to attract and develop leads.

Relationship Management

  • Build dependable relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Stay in regular contact with prospects and clients.
  • Represent the company at conferences, industry forums, and networking events.

Sales and Revenue Growth

  • Move opportunities from first contact through to signed agreement.
  • Contribute to proposal preparation and commercial discussions.
  • Deliver quarterly sales and revenue objectives.

  • Keep track of market movements, competitors, and emerging client demands.

CRM and Reporting

Ideal Candidate

  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, consulting, or enterprise software sales.
  • An existing network of senior business leaders in Zimbabwe.
  • Strong skills in relationship building and negotiation.
  • Background selling professional services, consulting, technology solutions, or enterprise software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation ability.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting targets.
  • Knowledge of digital transformation, AI, data analytics, business intelligence, or operational improvement is a strong advantage.
