Data Analyst (Entry / Junior)

About the Role

Haesong Offshore Wind is hiring an entry-level Data Analyst for a full-time position based in Australia. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with data, spotting meaningful patterns, and turning raw information into practical insights that help guide business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather data from different business systems, then prepare and review it for analysis.
• Clean, organize, and examine datasets to surface useful findings.
• Build dashboards, reports, and visual representations that clearly communicate results.
• Detect trends, relationships, and opportunities through careful data review.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reporting outputs.
• Work closely with teams across the business to support decisions backed by data.
• Contribute to the development of data models and more efficient reporting processes.
• Record analytical methods, key metrics, and reporting guidelines.

Requirements

• Good problem-solving ability and a strong analytical mindset.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Exposure to visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
• Some familiarity with Python, R, or comparable data tools is a plus.
• Careful attention to detail, along with solid organization skills.
• Clear communication style and a cooperative, proactive approach.
