Electrical Engineer

Role overview

This position focuses on supervising the installation and delivery of electrical works for underground metro stations. The engineer will make sure the execution aligns with approved design intent, safety requirements, quality expectations, and project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site implementation of electrical systems, including low-voltage and medium-voltage networks, lighting, power distribution, earthing, and cable routing.
• Assess electrical shop drawings and design documents to confirm buildability and suitability for site coordination.
• Verify that construction activities follow approved drawings, technical specifications, and applicable UAE regulations.
• Liaise with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and other project teams to support smooth integration of works.
• Track contractor progress, workmanship quality, and compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Assist with testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems.

Candidate profile

• A B.E. or B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• The role calls for more than 13 years of experience in underground metro or infrastructure projects.
• Applicants should bring strong site supervision capabilities along with design coordination experience.
• Working knowledge of international standards and UAE-specific requirements is expected.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in metro project site execution and design coordination is mandatory.
