Role Overview

An experienced and detail-focused Factory Hand is needed for an immediate start at the Coopers Plains site. The position is fully site-based and involves practical work in a busy manufacturing setting. The location offers on-site parking and convenient access to public transport.

Key Duties

• Prepare, pack, and load customer orders for collection.
• Use a forklift as part of daily operations; this is mandatory for the role.
• Support assembly work and remove parts from laser and plasma-cut sheets.
• Carry out grinding, sanding, and linishing on metal parts.
• Perform tapping, nutserting, and studding tasks on components.
• Keep the work area tidy and assist with folding and fabrication activities.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant holds a current Australian forklift licence and brings a dependable, safety-first approach to work. You should be physically capable, able to work on your own, and comfortable with fine hand-eye coordination tasks. Previous exposure to laser/plasma cutting or fabrication work is preferred but not essential. Weekend overtime may be available for those who want additional earnings.
