Role Overview

The company is hiring a Full-Stack Engineering Lead to help expand both its technology platform and engineering culture. This is a hands-on leadership position: most of the time will be spent building, solving complex technical problems, and designing systems, while also setting engineering standards, mentoring teammates, and influencing the platform’s direction.

What You Will Build

In this role, you will lead development of Base360.ai, the core technology layer that supports every part of The Flex. You will collaborate across product, engineering, AI, and operations to create scalable systems that automate workflows, improve decisions, and support business growth.

You will be accountable not only for the features delivered, but also for the engineering approach used to deliver them.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and launch of high-impact products that improve guest experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Make architecture decisions that keep the platform scalable, dependable, and easy to maintain as the business expands internationally.
• Set and improve engineering practices, including code quality expectations, development processes, and technical documentation.
• Coach engineers through technical guidance, reviews, and support that strengthens a high-performing, improvement-focused culture.
• Build automation systems that reduce manual effort and help operations scale smoothly across multiple markets.
• Develop and maintain integrations with Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, Google, OpenAI, and other strategic tools and partners.
• Introduce AI-driven workflows, tools, and agents that improve productivity and decision-making across the company.
• Partner with product, operations, revenue, and leadership teams to turn business problems into robust technical solutions.

Technology Environment

The current stack includes Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, Supabase, PostgreSQL, AWS, OpenAI APIs, Stripe, Twilio, Docker, and GitHub Actions. You do not need to know every tool already, but you should learn quickly and be comfortable making technical decisions.

Requirements

• Strong experience building software across both frontend and backend layers.
• Proven ability to design and scale production-grade systems.
• Solid knowledge of APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and system architecture.
• Track record of leading technical work from idea stage through deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and clear communication skills.
• Ability to move quickly without sacrificing engineering quality.
• Strong sense of ownership and a bias toward execution.

Preferred Background

• Prior experience leading engineers or technical teams.
• Exposure to startup or scale-up environments.
• Experience with AI products or LLM integrations.
• Background in SaaS, marketplace, travel, or PropTech businesses.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, React, AWS, or Supabase.
