Hardware Tester

Role overview

This position focuses on testing computer hardware parts such as CPUs, memory modules, and integrated circuit components. The role involves building and running test plans, overseeing testing workflows, checking authenticity, validating products, and sending test results to customers when needed.

How you can contribute

• Run verification and defect detection checks on CPU, memory, and IC parts, including authenticity validation.
• Spot counterfeit or non-genuine IC components to protect product quality across the supply chain.
• Keep testing equipment and platforms maintained and calibrated.
• Refresh testing software so it works with newly introduced products and components.
• Partner with Purchasing and Sales teams to deliver accurate test findings on time.
• Prepare defect documentation for Purchasing and buyers so vendor follow-up can be handled effectively.
• Support the creation of training materials to strengthen team testing knowledge.
• Make sure every defect is recorded and tracked properly through the full workflow.
• Follow safety, ESD, and other required certification standards.

Profile sought

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of GCE O-Level or an equivalent qualification, along with 1–2 years of experience in the electronics component sector. Exposure to CPU, memory, or IC testing is preferred. Experience with IC authenticity checks is an added advantage. The role also calls for someone who can work independently, collaborate well in a team, and handle hardware troubleshooting or software testing tasks. Strong English communication, MS Office proficiency, and solid analytical and problem-solving ability are important.
