The opportunity
HelloFresh is hiring a Lead Compensation Business Partner to shape and drive global compensation strategy. This is a senior, highly visible position focused on building and rolling out compensation programs that support business growth, reward performance, strengthen pay transparency, and stay aligned with compliance requirements. You will work closely with the Global Director, Compensation Strategy and partner with leaders across the organization to create compensation frameworks that are robust, practical, and defensible.
What you will do
- Partner with HR and business leaders across Tech and other global functions to advise on compensation strategy, pay practices, and program design from a global standpoint.
- Own and guide strategic compensation workstreams, including initiatives such as pay equity, compensation review cycles, job architecture, and retention of top talent.
- Use data, advanced analytics, and market insights to support compensation decisions, including offer recommendations, while staying true to the company’s pay philosophy.
- Build and improve tools, processes, and dashboards together with global Compensation and HR teams so leaders and managers have clearer visibility into compensation topics.
- Run market analyses to track movement in the external landscape, spot data gaps, and turn findings into practical recommendations.
- Act as a compensation subject matter expert and develop communication materials that help educate HR partners, leaders, people managers, and employees.
What the company is looking for
- At least 8 years of relevant compensation experience, ideally in technology or corporate environments within a fast-moving global organization.
- A strategic, influential mindset with the confidence to guide and advise HR business partners and senior leaders at different levels.
- Strong analytical capability, including experience working with large datasets and building advanced models in Google Sheets or Excel.
- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing compensation programs in complex environments while balancing employee expectations with business and financial realities.
- Comfort working through ambiguity, changing priorities, and complex business situations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
