Mechanical Execution Engineer - Site

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Execution Engineer to oversee and manage mechanical construction activities at our site in Hyderabad. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful and timely completion of various mechanical systems, including piping, equipment installation, HVAC, fire suppression, and utility networks. You will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and execute mechanical construction tasks on-site, encompassing equipment installation, piping, ductwork, and fire protection systems.
• Oversee and guide subcontractors and on-site personnel to ensure project milestones are met and quality benchmarks are achieved.
• Interpret and utilize mechanical blueprints, isometric diagrams, P&IDs, and site layouts to guide execution.
• Conduct thorough inspections at various project stages, verifying installations and performing tests in line with Quality Assurance/Quality Control protocols.
• Ensure the consistent availability of necessary resources, including materials, tools, labor, and machinery, to maintain uninterrupted workflow.
• Maintain comprehensive site records, including daily progress reports, inspection logs, and material inventory tracking.
• Collaborate with the procurement department to guarantee on-time material delivery and liaise with design teams for technical clarifications.
• Monitor the performance of contractors, promptly identifying and reporting any deviations or non-compliance issues.
• Uphold strict adherence to all safety regulations, actively participating in safety inspections and daily safety briefings.
• Provide support during the commissioning phase and assist in resolving any outstanding issues prior to project handover.

Requirements

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and layout plans.
• Experience in conducting stage-wise inspections, testing, and installation verification.
• Knowledge of QA/QC guidelines and safety regulations.
• Ability to coordinate with procurement, design, and site teams.
• Experience in supervising subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems such as piping, equipment erection, HVAC, fire-fighting, and utilities.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Hyderabad, Telangana.
