Role Summary

The Pet Handler position is a full-time, on-site role in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The job centers on hands-on care for dogs, cats, and other small animals. The role includes feeding, providing water, cleaning kennels and play spaces, and watching pets for changes in health or behavior.

What You Will Do

• Take care of pets each day by feeding them, keeping water available, and ensuring their basic needs are met.
• Clean kennels, play areas, and other pet spaces to maintain a tidy and hygienic environment.
• Observe pets closely for signs of illness, stress, or unusual behavior and share concerns promptly.
• Oversee play sessions and walk dogs safely and responsibly.
• Support grooming activities, including bathing assistance, nail trimming, and brushing.
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and handling procedures to protect pets, staff, and visitors.
• Keep clear records of pet routines, care needs, and any notable observations.
• Coordinate respectfully with coworkers and communicate professionally with pet owners or guardians.
• Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and calm facility throughout the day.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone with practical experience in animal care, especially in a boarding, daycare, or veterinary environment. The ideal person understands dog and cat behavior, handles animals safely, and can manage physical tasks such as walking dogs, lifting where needed, and standing for long periods. A strong sense of cleanliness, safety, and reliability is important, along with the ability to stay calm while caring for multiple pets in a busy setting.

Additional Requirements

This role requires dependable attendance, including flexibility for weekends and holidays when needed. The right candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, able to follow instructions carefully, and confident with basic record-keeping. Experience helping with grooming or training is beneficial, and any formal animal-care education or certification will be considered an advantage.
