About the Role
Join an international logistics company with a presence in more than 220 countries and territories, known for global express delivery and a strong customer-first culture. This position is part of a team focused on connecting people and businesses worldwide while maintaining high standards of safety, security, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Put health and safety policies into practice, ensuring internal procedures and work methods align with fire regulations, safety standards, and all applicable legal requirements.
- Keep all facilities safe, well maintained, and compliant with TAPA and other relevant regulations, while coordinating budgets, vendors, employees, and other stakeholders.
- Build and sustain a strong professional relationship with customers.
- Meet key account customers and work closely with their security representatives to make sure their security expectations are met.
- Plan, develop, and deploy preventive security and facility systems such as CCTV, access control, and x-ray equipment.
- Carry out security investigations and other inquiries as needed, and report findings to the Senior Director Operations.
- Perform security audits to evaluate the effectiveness of security practices and programs across all sites.
- Prepare, analyze, and submit routine reports on shipments and security incidents.
- Conduct regular internal safety and security audits, ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, and oversee external audits when required.
- Manage loss prevention activities, including investigations and reporting.
- Create and maintain preventive maintenance plans.
- Oversee the condition and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Organize, monitor, and supervise repairs, maintenance work, and renovation activities.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent spoken communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational ability, including the skill to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Comfortable contributing as part of a busy team.
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and initiative when solving work-related problems.
- Solid understanding of the DHL network.
- Strong problem-solving capability.

- Adheres to a right-first-time approach.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in the police force, armed forces, or security industry.
- Good computer skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Knowledge of security aids and equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good people management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Valid driving licence.
- Good knowledge of DHL systems and procedures.
- Investigation experience is highly desirable.
