About Wynn Al Marjan Island
Wynn Al Marjan Island is planned to open in the UAE in 2027 as a high-end beachfront destination designed for guests seeking both leisure and entertainment. The resort is being developed on a scenic island that extends into the Arabian Gulf and is located under 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport. Once complete, it will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, a nightclub, and a five-star spa.
About the Role
The resort is seeking a Shift Supervisor - Cage to join its Cage team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day cage activity, including cashiering, vault handling, jackpot disbursements, and credit processing.
- Make sure all monetary transactions are recorded correctly and handled in line with internal procedures and gaming rules.
- Guide, coach, train, and assess cage team members, while helping organize schedules and staffing coverage.
- Review cashier paperwork, investigate variances, and prepare shift reports.
- Allocate cashier banks and ensure key records are tracked properly.
- Handle patron questions and complaints in a courteous and effective manner.
- Alert Surveillance to any unusual behavior and escalate incidents to management.
- Support strong customer relationships between cage staff and guests.
- Track attendance and break compliance for cage team members.
- Serve as a point of coordination between the cage team and other departments.
- Help implement process updates and keep equipment operating properly.
- Encourage a positive workplace culture that reflects Wynn’s luxury service standards.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED. College-level study in finance or business is preferred. The role requires 3 to 5 years of cage operations experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity. A solid grasp of cage procedures, gaming regulations, and internal controls is essential, along with strong leadership, communication, and organizational ability. Familiarity with IR management systems and Microsoft Office is also needed. Candidates must be open to flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, and be eligible to obtain and keep a valid gaming license.
