Overview
PepsiCo is hiring five Stackers to support packing-line and palletizing activities at its Aliwal North, Eastern Cape site.
Responsibilities
- Inspect the printer to make sure it is functioning properly.
- Check that packed goods are presented neatly and in the expected condition.
- Review pallet quality before placing any product on it.
- Verify bag weights and record them manually where required.
- Confirm that the correct barcode is applied to the product.
- Make sure barcoded items are wrapped neatly and securely.
- Stack pallets so they remain straight, orderly, and tidy.
- Inspect wrapped products to confirm the packaging remains intact.
Qualifications
A minimum of NQF Level 4, Grade 12, or an equivalent relevant qualification is required.
Candidates should also have 12 months of experience in a similar working environment.
Health and Safety
All work must be carried out in line with applicable health and safety standards.
