Role overview

Applegreen is hiring a Supervisor for its Birdhill location at Junction 27. In this position, you will play an important part in day-to-day frontline store operations and help maintain a smooth, customer-focused service environment.

This opportunity is suited to someone who already has experience in retail and has previously held a supervisory position. It is a role for someone who enjoys working with people, building strong working relationships, and contributing to a community-oriented team.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager with administrative duties that help keep the store running efficiently.
• Assist in increasing sales and working toward sales targets.
• Lead and encourage the team by setting practical goals and using clear communication and leadership.
• Make sure the store follows all company processes, standards, and policies.
• Provide a high level of customer service at all times.

Working requirements

• You must be available to work evenings and weekends.
• A valid means of transport is required, as this is a motorway-based site.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate brings 1 to 2 years of retail experience in a similar supervisory setting. They should be positive, motivated, comfortable speaking with customers, and able to work well with others in a busy, fast-moving environment. A willingness to learn and take on new tasks is also important.
