- Partner with colleagues across the organization and contribute to strong knowledge sharing.
Required qualifications
- An MD or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline such as molecular biology, genetics, biology, chemistry, or a related field.
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience after graduate school, with at least 2 years in a relevant life sciences role such as investing, strategy consulting, equity research, investment banking, or a biopharma operating position.
- Ability to combine information from multiple sources into clear investment recommendations, including preclinical and clinical data, FDA or regulatory correspondence, and market research.
- Solid financial modeling skills, along with a clear interest in strengthening analytical capabilities further.
- Strong interest in primary scientific literature, along with scientific and medical meetings and conferences.
- Good understanding of drug development and regulatory pathways.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to simplify and explain complex information effectively.
- Professional maturity and presence, including comfort working with senior executives and management teams.
- Self-driven, curious, and positive with a proactive, can-do mindset.
