Role Overview

As a Backend Engineer, you will contribute to the growth of Almedia’s AdTech platform. The role is geared toward someone who enjoys designing reliable, scalable systems and working closely with cross-functional teams to support products used by millions of people.

Compensation

The role offers a salary range of €80,000 to €140,000, along with equity and bonus potential.

What You Will Do

• Build maintainable, efficient, and scalable backend services using TypeScript and NestJS.
• Integrate third-party services to support A/B testing and feature flag workflows in a data-driven product environment.
• Ship robust, testable code quickly while ensuring smooth production performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience in web development.
• Strong grasp of how scalable systems are designed and operated.
• Hands-on production experience with most of the listed technologies.
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work.
• Excellent English communication skills for effective teamwork.

Nice-to-Have Background

• Experience building or working with microservices-based systems.
• Exposure to DevOps or SRE practices.
