Role overview
The Summit of Future is looking for a part-time Commercial Manager based in Dubai. The position combines on-site presence with the flexibility to work from home, and focuses on driving revenue and shaping the commercial direction of The Summit of Future 2026.
Commercial focus
This role is responsible for building and managing income streams across sponsorships, partnerships, and ticketing. You will help define commercial strategy, create event pricing and package structures, and ensure the offer is attractive to partners and attendees alike.
Key duties
On a day-to-day basis, you will identify potential sponsors, approach and negotiate with them, and manage commercial agreements from discussion through to completion. You will also work closely with marketing, operations, and program teams so that revenue plans stay aligned with the wider event goals.
The role includes reviewing performance metrics, preparing revenue forecasts, overseeing budgets, and maintaining productive relationships with external partners and vendors.
Qualifications and working style
Applicants should bring strong experience in commercial and contract management, including negotiation, expectation management, and compliance with agreed terms. You should also be confident with business planning and analysis, able to build revenue models, estimate performance, review risks, and improve commercial results.
Experience leading or coordinating teams is important, as the role requires collaboration across departments in a fast-moving environment. A background in events, entertainment, media, or another related field is a strong advantage, especially for large projects involving many stakeholders.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities are essential. The role also calls for independence, the ability to juggle several priorities at once, and flexibility when timelines or requirements change.
Additional requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent hands-on experience is also acceptable. The working environment is multicultural and inclusive, and the role may occasionally require evening or weekend availability around important event milestones.
About the position
This is a commercial leadership role supporting a major event initiative, with a strong emphasis on revenue growth, partner management, and cross-functional coordination.
