Role Overview

United Pharma Technologies Inc is looking for a careful and insight-driven Data Analyst to work remotely. This position centers on statistical analysis, spotting trends in data, and building data-trending workflows from the ground up, ideally in a medical device setting. The role also calls for clear communication, teamwork across functions, and familiarity with regulated quality environments.

Key Responsibilities

Create, roll out, and continuously improve analytics and trend-monitoring workflows using appropriate statistical approaches.
Examine large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and practical business insights.
Use Microsoft Excel at an advanced level for analysis, including pivot tables, formulas, statistical tools, and charts or visual outputs.
Study medical device complaint records to detect product quality and performance patterns.
Build and update dashboards and reports in Power BI, when available, to help meet business and quality goals.
Partner with Quality and Regulatory groups by supplying data-backed support for compliance, risk reduction, and improvement efforts.
Share findings and recommendations with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders.
Protect data accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to relevant regulatory and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a similar discipline.
A strong grasp of statistical methods and data interpretation.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting tasks.
Hands-on experience creating data-trending methods and analytics processes from scratch.
Solid analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail.
Strong speaking and writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
Background in a regulated medical device environment.
Working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and medical device quality systems.
Experience reviewing and analyzing complaint data related to medical devices.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building interactive dashboards with Power BI.
Exposure to quality metrics, CAPA, complaint investigations, and post-market surveillance information.
Prior support of quality, regulatory, or compliance work in the medical device sector.

Experience

The preferred background is 3 to 7+ years in data analytics, quality analytics, or statistical analysis, ideally within medical devices or another regulated healthcare environment. The role also values a track record of turning complex data into clear insights that guide quality and business decisions.

This is a remote contract role based in the United States.
