This position involves pulling salesman samples from the showroom, ordering top-of-production samples for the assigned brand or division, and partnering closely with the studio team on item-level shoots. The associate will also support the unique B2B requirements of Global Merchandising within the digital asset process. Success in this role depends on strong communication with buying, licensing, merchandising operations, production, and sourcing teams, along with excellent organization and the ability to handle shifting priorities across departments.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor each stage of the digital asset creation workflow so that all global styles are captured within required timelines.
- Source and manage samples needed for both model-led and still-life photography.

- Keep seasonal sample status records accurate and up to date for reporting purposes.
- Use internal product information management tools to track incoming samples across multiple brands for seasonal deliveries.
- Take part in showroom breakdowns and sample retrieval activities.
- Receive, label, and organize product samples.
- Coordinate shoot planning with the manager and studio production staff.
- Develop strong working relationships with wholesale, merchandising, production, and studio functions including production, retouching, studio technology, photography, and styling.
- Support the planning and delivery of additional content solutions across business needs.
- Assist the Manager of Digital Operations and Director of Digital Operations with special projects as needed.
- Coordinate additional photo shoots for wholesale partners.
- Prepare product status updates and share weekly digital asset reports with global regions.
- Review the website each week to confirm product imagery is accurate for the assigned brand.
- Maintain shared reporting with international studios so global partners’ assets are captured on schedule.
- Work with studio production teams on shoot planning.
- Align shooting priorities with the supervisor for third-party studios.
- Support the creation and delivery of B2B content and assets for B2B platforms.
- Help arrange sample shipping and receiving between LIC and international third-party studios by preparing commercial invoices for B2B assets.
- Lead seasonal kickoff meetings with the studio styling team.
- Work with digital operations and styling teams to build agendas for bi-monthly meetings.
Requirements
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with different personalities.
- Excellent organization and the ability to manage several deadlines and priorities at once.
- Careful attention to detail and comfort working with large volumes of product data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to lift and move boxes of product.
- Experience handling multiple brands successfully.
- Demonstrated leadership capability.
- Ability to create and deliver best-practice training materials.
- Previous experience in a busy photo studio is an advantage.
Compensation
