About the Company

Advanced Metal Industries and Toho Titanium (ATTM) is a private-sector business in the specialty chemicals and materials space. The role is with AMIC-TOHO Titanium Metal Company in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, and reports to the Superintendent, Reliability & Engineering.

Role Overview

This position supports the long-term fitness of stationary assets by providing technical guidance, strengthening equipment integrity plans, and leading Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) activities across plant equipment. The goal is to keep assets fit for service through the expected end of life, improve reliability performance, and support company reliability objectives and KPIs.

Key Duties

• Track asset condition and performance, anticipate failures, and take preventive action through sound equipment strategy.
• Investigate failures, determine root causes, and recommend practical corrective actions to improve integrity.
• Coordinate with inspection and operations teams when unexpected failures or breakdowns occur in stationary equipment.
• Contribute to the creation, review, and updating of fixed equipment integrity programs such as RBI, RCM, and related methods used by the department.
• Assess new and revised projects to make sure corrosion and materials concerns are addressed while balancing technical and business needs.
• Take part in RCA, RCM, PHA, MOC, and similar workshops or committees.
• Build and maintain quality procedures for health audits of stationary equipment and pipelines, and prepare the related audit material.
• Collect, review, and use technical information tied to stationary plant equipment.
• Analyze corrosion loops for equipment and piping to identify likely degradation mechanisms.
• Review RBI study outputs regularly and correct or refine methods so the results stay aligned with company goals.
• Support reliability culture improvement through KPI monitoring, focused improvement tasks, training needs identification, and awareness activities.
• Promote RBI and reliability awareness across maintenance, operations, projects, and other functions.
• Study equipment behavior, monitor operations, and support improvement initiatives.
• Take proactive steps to protect equipment integrity and availability for intended service.
• Identify bad actors in stationary equipment and pipelines, analyze issues, and propose remedial measures.
• Prepare annual and master plans for the plant’s RBI analysis program.
• Present RBI analysis results and outcomes to management.
• Support the overall mechanical integrity program and legal compliance requirements.
• Perform asset criticality assessments and apply strong analytical and troubleshooting methods.
• Use SAP Plant Maintenance to extract data, analyze information, and calculate MTTR and MTBF.
• Work with asset performance management software and related reliability systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Corrosion Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Solid knowledge of MS Office and reliability tools such as SAP, Meridium, and RCA software.
• Strong verbal communication and cross-functional coordination ability.
• Careful, organized, and detail-focused working style.
• Ability to independently plan and complete health audits for stationary equipment and pipelines.
• Familiarity with Meridium or similar databases is an advantage, especially with facilitator capability.
• Knowledge of statistical methods for analyzing large datasets.
• Ability to lead by example, work under pressure, and deliver strong results.
• Understanding of high-temperature corrosion and damage mechanisms.
