Role overview

Digitive is looking for an entry-level Copyeditor based in the United States to work remotely. The role calls for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree, strong grammar and syntax skills, excellent writing ability, and an interest in storytelling.

What you will do

• Turn around assigned project data promptly while maintaining a very high quality bar.
• Get up to speed quickly on new project guidelines and consistently meet expected productivity and accuracy standards.
• Take part in project forums and meetings, and communicate clearly with the wider team.
• Look for ways to improve current workflows and share practical feedback on tools and process improvements.
• Review customer feedback, track satisfaction trends, and support initiatives aimed at improving results.
• Follow project and stakeholder instructions accurately and apply them in day-to-day work.
• Prepare project analysis reports as needed and within required timelines.
• Adjust smoothly to changing project policies and shifting requirements.

Required background and skills

The preferred educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in political science, linguistics, creative writing, content writing, arts, essay writing, scripts, or a related field. Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills, solid interpersonal abilities, and some familiarity with local cultures. Comfort using computers is essential.

You should be able to understand assigned tasks, complete them reliably and on time, and consistently deliver work that exceeds your own quality expectations. A strong work ethic, the ability to perform with limited supervision, analytical thinking, independent judgment, and a collaborative, solution-focused attitude are all important for success in this role.
