Role Overview

The ACI Engineer role is focused on building, supporting, and improving secure, high-performance payment processing solutions. The position calls for hands-on work with Base24 UPF, Java, Groovy, and microservices, along with cloud deployment and automation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot Base24 UPF environments for real-time payment transaction handling.
• Build Java-based microservices and use Groovy scripting to improve automation and workflow efficiency.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs while working with ISO 8583 and ISO 20022 message standards.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate build, release, and deployment activities through CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and UDeploy.
• Support secure development practices and help ensure alignment with PCI DSS and other relevant standards.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 5 years of experience working with Base24 UPF and ACI-based solutions.
• Strong command of Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and Groovy scripting.
• Working knowledge of ISO 8583, Kafka, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Practical experience with cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work on payment systems with a strong focus on reliability and security.

Preferred Exposure

• Experience with ACI Postilion and Connex will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to fraud detection systems and AI-based analytics is preferred.
