Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Assistant Manager in Client Servicing to help manage day-to-day activity in a busy, regulated business setup environment. The position is centered on operational control, compliance, service excellence, and strengthening team performance across business licensing and UAE residence visa handling.
The right candidate will bring hands-on experience in business setup or a comparable regulated setting, along with a track record of improving operations through clear reporting, well-documented SOPs, and consistent performance tracking.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist with the full operational cycle for business licensing and UAE residence visa processing (GDRFA), making sure work is accurate, completed on time, and aligned with regulations.
- Keep an eye on daily caseloads, file movement, service-level targets, and turnaround times, and step in early to remove delays or blockers.
- Liaise with internal departments and outside parties such as Free Zone bodies, GDRFA, typing centers, medical and Emirates ID service partners, and other authorities to keep cases moving smoothly.
- Contribute to efficiency and process-improvement initiatives that reduce mistakes and strengthen service delivery.
- Help create, update, and standardize SOPs, workflows, and operational checklists.
- Monitor KPIs and key operational data, then suggest corrective measures based on trends and findings.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering volumes, turnaround performance, compliance, rework levels, and productivity.
- Share operational insights that support management decisions and workforce planning.
- Assist with onboarding and refresher training for the operations team.
- Lead process walkthroughs, coaching discussions, and quality reviews to improve consistency and capability.
- Support performance evaluation through structured feedback and improvement planning.
- Ensure compliance with Free Zone rules, GDRFA requirements, third-party authority standards, and internal procedures.
- Support audits and quality reviews, and help implement corrective and preventive actions where needed.
- Handle escalations and complex cases to protect service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with sales and customer-facing teams so that expectations, documents, and timelines stay aligned.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent relevant experience is also acceptable.
- Between 4 and 6 years of experience in client servicing or operations within business setup, free zone, government services, or visa processing.
- Proven exposure to operational reporting, process improvement, and performance management.
- Prior knowledge of UAE business licensing and residence visa procedures is a strong advantage.
- Six Sigma or another process-improvement certification is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Comfort working in regulated, high-volume operational settings.
- Exposure to SLA-based or contact center-style operations.
- Strong analytical ability, reporting discipline, and problem-solving approach.
- High attention to detail and a strong compliance mindset.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Clear and confident communication with strong cross-functional coordination skills.
- Arabic fluency is mandatory.
